Wandsworth Yoga

We have many clients who live in and around Wandsworth attending our classes at 2 Kite Yard, SW11. We are less than 10-minutes drive from the centre of Wandsworth, and a number of frequent bus services run close by us.

We run a variety of yoga classes, from the essentials of Hatha Yoga, Pranayama (breathing techniques), an introduction to Surya Namaska (the sun salutation), and meditation. Hatha Yoga classes are open to everybody, whatever your level of experience. We run private yoga classes and you can even join us for a free Hatha Yoga Taster class.

 

Wandsworth Pilates

 

These classes combine the core-building exercises of Pilates, with stretches, with a view to strengthen the body’s ‘power centre’ – the core – and to increase overall flexibility. Pilates classes are suitable for any level of practitioner.

 

Wandsworth Meditation

 

We run beginners meditation classes where you will learn the key skills of Mindfulness, including the body scan, mindful breathing, mindful movement, and more. This is a rolling 6-week course, you can join at ANY time. Our Open Meditation classes have been running for many years and help students go much deeper into their mindfulness meditation practice and are a natural progression from the Beginners Course.

 

Wandsworth Pregnancy Yoga

 

Pregnancy Yoga should be the first choice of exercise for any pregnant woman. Widely recommended and promoted by midwives and doctors, it is considered the safest all round exercise for women during pregnancy and an ideal birth preparation programme. Classes suit all stages of pregnancy from 14 – 42 weeks.

After you have given birth, bring your baby to our new Postnatal Yoga class to heal, strengthen and nurture your postnatal body as well as connect with a Yoga community of new mums. Finally, you can join our Mum and Baby Yoga classes where we combine specific postnatal yoga exercises for the mothers with the wonderful practice of baby yoga to ensure that both mothers and babies enjoy their yoga experience.

 

Wandsworth Bioenergetics

 

Join us as we move, breathe, dance, shout, rage – and finally, meditate! These weekly classes are GREAT FUN and provide an opportunity to go deep into the body and are based on the teachings of Wilhelm Reich and developed by renowned Psychiatrist Dr. Alexander Lowen, it is a dynamic form of therapy aimed at restoring energetic balance and well-being in the body-mind. – Bioenergetics brings the individual back to vibrant, joyful health.
