Mindfulness has been discussed in the media at great length, and does not need much of an introduction. Forward thinking, innovative companies, from Google to the Bank of England, offer Mindfulness training to their executives – and to great effect.

Battersea Yoga has been offering these programmes for many years.

What:
These training days will teach you the key skills of Mindfulness, including how to de-stress the body with the ‘Body Scan’, relaxing the mind with mindful breathing, improving the energy of the body with mindful movement. The key skills of Non-Violent Communication are also offered.

Angus Ford-Robertson has nearly 20 years of experience in mindfulness meditation, learning directly from some of the world’s most inspiring mindfulness teachers, including Eckhart Tolle and Ajahn Sumedho at Amaravati Monastry. As Founder and Director of Battersea Yoga, Angus has taught Meditation and Yoga internationally since 2001 to many thousands of students. He teaches in both the Private and Public sector. Past and current clients include the NHS, multi-national Companies, Foreign Embassies and the Home Office.

Angus is a qualified practicing Clinical Hypnotherapist and holds a Diploma with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. He is a Member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and specializes in the treatment of stress-related conditions. He runs a weekly Private Therapy practice.

Beyond yoga, meditation, motorbikes and discovering foreign lands, Angus’ other passions include his partner Nadia, his three boys Rowan, Conor, Finlay & his daughter Freya.
