Mindfulness Beginners

** Teacher varies, please check timetable – Thursday 6:30pm in Studio 2 **

These classes will teach you the key skills of Mindfulness, including the body scan, mindful breathing, mindful movement, and more. The core of these classes is what is taught on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction courses by Universities across the UK. It is a beautiful and gentle way to begin the practice.

There is no required reading, however, if you are interested in a good book we thoroughly recommend ‘Full Catastrophe Living’ by Jon Kabat-Zinn and ‘The Power of Now’ by Eckhart Tolle.

Each week will cover a different area of mindful practice or theme: Body Scan Method, Mindful Eating, Mindful Breathing, Mindful Sitting, Mindful Movement, Mindful Walking.
