Workshop Talk and Q&A With Jay Rai
Everyone has the ability to overcome the adversities that life throws at them. If you are looking for a therapy that goes beyond “talk” and focuses on long-term change, then her approach is for you.
Assertiveness is the ability to communicate in a direct, honest, and respectful manner. Being assertive is an important communication skill which can reduce levels of depression and anxiety, improve self-esteem and enhance self-empowerment.
Jay will give an talk for 30 minutes, then you have a chance to discuss, ask questions and reflect. The session will run for an hour in studio 2.
Please note they are limited to 10 places, bookings in advance advised (£12pp).

You will learn your own assertiveness style and develop the skills of being effectively assertive in a variety of different situations, including tips and techniques on managing your own anger and the anger of others.
