Lion Heart Yoga: The Practice of Courage

Cultivating Courage & Facing Fears

Lion Heart Yoga – The next stage
Decisions to better ourselves can require tremendous courage. We can cultivate this in our yoga practice by setting intentions and learning to face our fears in certain postures.
Setting intentions is like drawing a map of where you would like your life to go. We will start by taking the time to meditate, reflect, & write our intentions down. We will then share these with the group (if you wish to). For those of us who attended the first Lion Heart Yoga workshop earlier in the year – there will be a chance to check in with the intentions made before and build on them, or start fresh. Carla will then lead you through various yoga sequences, which we will flow through with our intentions in mind.
Examples of these intentions:
Inner Life – I am going to nurture my own heart everyday without the help of anyone else.
Personal Life – I am going to be softer to the people I love the most.
Professional Life – I am going to own my own business by the end of the year.
We will also explore more challenging postures that require extra time such as Crow and Headstand. These confidence building postures will work hand in hand with our chosen intentions.
Carla’s background in performing arts has encouraged her to want to connect with people and their reasons for practising yoga. She sees it as a space for self-discovery, self-love and self-improvement.
This empowering workshop will connect you to what you really want from life, and allow you to make the positive changes that are balancing at the edge of your curiosity.
This workshop is open to absolutely everyone. Workshop suitable for all (including those who haven’t attended the first one).
Come and find your inner lion heart!

Upcoming Dates:  Sunday 26th November  2017, 1pm-3,30pm  £30

“You are what your deepest desire is. As your desire is, so is your intention. As your intention is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny.”
